As SD350’s Board President and member of the public policy team, I’ve seen firsthand how people-powered advocacy can lead to real change. We’re celebrating substantial victories this year—national climate legislation, a setbacks bill for oil and gas wells in California communities, and a bill to make state agencies net zero by 2035. This is much needed progress, but there is still more work to do. We need your support to carry this momentum into 2023.

Earlier this year, our team helped shape the City of San Diego’s Climate Action Plan (CAP), with ambitious goals to decarbonize the City’s energy, transportation, and land use systems. Now, we’re campaigning for a robust implementation of that plan to make sure this CAP fulfills its promise.
